Reverend Timothy D. Storck, Associate Pastor |

God's Mission for us is the "Preaching and teaching the truth to His expanding kingdom, reaching out to all!"
Our first destination on the journey towards His Vision for us is to "Increase, unify and involve membership through caring outreach and loving in-reach while efficiently managing God's resources and expanding effective facilities."
The Lord’s Supper:
Attendance at the Lord’s Table signifies a unity of faith and confession. It is
a testimony of what we believe, for by partaking of it, “We proclaim the
Lord’s death until he comes.” (1 Cor. 11:26) In fact, St. Paul indicates
that it is a witness of the faith we share: “Since there is one bread, we who
are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread!” (1 Cor. 10:17)
As “faithful stewards of the mysteries of God” (1 Cor. 4:1-2), we have a
responsibility to inform those who take the Lord’s Supper unworthily, that they
are sinning against the body and blood of Christ, thus bringing judgment upon
themselves. (1 Cor. 11:27-29) Therefore, we at Messiah Lutheran Church
practice close communion, meaning that only those who agree with us in
all areas of doctrine and practice, may commune with us. We cordially invite
members of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, who are in good standing in
their home congregation, to freely commune with us. (Please register in the
Record of Fellowship pad, located at the end of each pew.) All others are asked
to please speak with the pastor BEFORE the service begins! We thank you
for respecting our belief and practice regarding the Lord’s Supper.
To all guests and visitors in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If there is any way in which we can serve you, please let us know by emailing Cinda, Messiah's Office Manager, at cindah@messiahlutherangj.org or call the church at (970)245-2838. We cordially invite you to join us at any time for worship or if you simply want information on other Missouri-Synod churches, schools, or districts, go to:

Thank you and may God
bless and keep you!
